Welcome to the remote learning page for Upper Key Stage Two.
We will be holding live class registrations twice a day via Zoom. These are not compulsory but we do encourage participation - these are time to ask any questions regarding the days learning.
If you require assistance with accessing Zoom, please contact your child's class teacher.
Our live Zoom sessions will take place every morning at 9:00am and Monday to Thursday afternoons at 2:15pm. These Zoom meetings will last no longer than 15 minutes. On a Friday we will have a slightly longer Zoom to celebrate the week, this will be at 1.30pm and will last around 25minutes.
Zoom invitations for a recurring meeting will be posted on Seesaw. These invitations will only be sent once as the same details will be used every registration, morning and afternoon each day of the week.
In Key Stage 2 we are recording our videos 'live' whilst we are teaching so that the children at home can have the feeling of being in class and benefit from any class discussions. At school we are working a day ahead of the remote learning plan to allow this recording to take place - this doesn't make any difference to those children learning at home as the planning and videos match. We have our own Rackham UKS2 YouTube channel where we will be posting our videos. We will send the video links out the morning of the day they are needed. Some videos may be unlisted if the children in school feature in them but the links will take you directly to them.
Friday - The plan for the following week will be posted on this website
By the evening before - Resources for the day on Seesaw (please use our help video to see how to use the new features)
Daily - YouTube video links posted on Seesaw (this activity will also have any other links which you may need for the day)
At the bottom of this page you will find a selection of useful resources and websites that you can access whilst you are learning at home.
If you have any resource requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher using their class email address.
