Growth Mindset

We aim to develop motivated, resilient and independent learners.  This involves developing growth rather than fixed mindset, which encourages children, teachers and parents to recognize effort and strategy, rather than just ability.  We regularly use the response 'YET' if children say they don't understand or can't do something.  We also use learning buddies, a challenge-based approach, and positive learning language .  Have a look at these resources to find out how you can develop growth mindset at home - including a survey to try yourself!
