Resources targeted at younger children (KS1):

https://www.mindheart.co/descargables - A free book to download to help explain to younger children the situation we are in. This could open up some useful discussions with your child around their feelings. It is available in a number of different languages.

Nurse Dotty book: https://nursedottybooks.com/dave-the-dog-is-worried-about-coronavirus-2/ Written by a nurse to help parents talk to younger children about the impact of Coronavirus.

Cosmic Kids Yoga for Mindfulness: https://www.cosmickids.com/

Resources targeted at older children (KS2):

Free downloadable book:

https://nosycrow.com/blog/released-today-free-information-book-explaining-coronavirus-children-illustrated-gruffalo-illustrator-axel-scheffler/   I would suggest it may be more appropriate for older children. There is a lot of information and the book covers many aspects including what a virus is, why life has had to change, feelings we may experience and also the reassurance that this will come to an end. You may like to pick and choose parts most appropriate to your child or read it in sections.
