March 2018:

We have agreed to take the lead on an 'enterprise challenge' actiivity within our classes for the Rackham Funday. FWR are giving each class £40 to use in an attempt to make as much money as possible on the Fun Day.  The teachers are taking this very seriously - their competitiveness is really showing!

February 2018:

We discussed the best options for World Book Day this term and also for Sports Relief.  We shared our classes ideas and came to a unanimous agreement to have a dress up day and performance poetry special assembly for World Book Day and a dress up day and sporting challenge activities for sports relief.

January 2018:

We have come up with a huge list of tide as we could raise money for at this years 'Rackham Fun Day' and we all agreed that new books for our school would be the most beneficial to all.  We are considering options for an 'enterprise challenge' within our classes to raise money.

December 2017:

We have made decisions on the film choices for our upcoming 'FWR Film Night fundraisers' and have helped Mrs. Harrison discuss ways to increase enjoyment for girls in maths and for boys in writing.  She was very impressed with our ideas.

We now have an extra coat stand for our coats during breaks and lunchtimes as we asked the FWR to fund it for to help us keep our school tidier.

We agreed to dress up as heroes and villains for Red Nose Day and to have a fun assembly catwalk show of the most impressive costumes.

We have been collecting christmas post and delivering to children across the school and we have discussed bullying at some length during our meetings with Mrs. Harrison.

November 2017.

School councillors have been discussing 'What Works Well' at our school and what would make it 'Even Better If'....

We have had a fantastic level of engagement in this exersise and Mrs. Hasrrison has taken the lists to staff meetings and governors meetings to share our thoughts. with the people who make decisions.  Watch this space!
